Over the course of the past two decades, the Finnish education has consistently led the world in reading and mathematics and has continually outperformed the struggling American education system. So the key questions is, how? The Harvard education professor Howard Gardner once advised Americans, “Learn from Finland, which has the most effective schools and which does just about the opposite of what we are doing in the United States.”
