Why Life Lutheran Preschool?

Life Lutheran Preschool is dedicated to the growth and progress of each child in our care. Our skilled staff and teachers understand that children learn and develop at their own pace and in their own way. We feature developmentally appropriate curriculum, activities, and play that will enhance social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth and development. Our classrooms radiate a Christian and nurturing environment in which every child feels loved and listened to. At Life Lutheran, we are a family. 

High Scope Curriculum for School Readiness

We believe, and research proves, that active learning is the key to positive child outcomes and school readiness. At Life Lutheran, we focus on children’s strengths. Play-based, child-centered, and grounded in research, the HighScope Curriculum features active learning at its core. In our High Scope classrooms, children are guided to explore, interact, and exercise their creative imagination through purposeful play. Well-prepared teachers support and extend each child’s learning based on their developmental levels, so children enter school ready and eager to learn!

Our Director

Life Lutheran Preschool is led by our Early Childhood Director, Mrs. Scriver. Mrs. Scriver has a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has successfully led two other centers in the Midwest. Mrs. Scriver has a heart for Christ’s Kingdom and His Little Lambs.
